Course Objective

Upon successful completion of the A&P prep course at Verve College, students will be able to recognize and use terminology and understand general principles associated with the structure and function(s) of human body systems. Students will be able to apply normal and clinical concepts of human anatomy and physiology to assessments and treatments. Students will be able to recognize, identify, and state the major function(s) of human organs based on text and lecture information.

Course Description

Verve College’s A&P Prep Course in Oak Brook and Chicago consists of 160 clock hours divided over a 10 weeks duration. The course educates students about the normal and clinical concepts of human anatomy and physiology. The program enables nursing students to identify and state the main functions of human organs based on the lecture and text information.
